Telus Spark Creative Kids Museum

There’s no better feeling than helping kids express themselves, and the Creative Kids Museum brings out their wonderful imaginations and brilliant, innovative play.

We updated the nursing room with fun mushroomy wallpaper and new flooring, and we created a subdued lighting environment for a relaxing experience. We also added millwork benches, replaced the countertop, and added a comfy change table space.

In the existing sensory area we painted the millwork and added upholstery, replaced the flooring, created a tree nook, and installed felt ceiling baffles and wall panels to help with the acoustics.

The spacious infant space was refreshed with new paint and upholstery on the millwork bench, new flooring, and new wall coverings. We built a display case for the Indigenous moss bag installation, we added swing doors to make sure the kiddos stay safe, and installed the grid on the ceiling that the Spark staff lovingly hung ribbons from to create a flowing, suspended ‘chandelier’.
